Just returned to CM and looking for options now that Rimpings has discontinued their 59b cooked breakfast.

I had previously read of earlier post where NancyL commented on options, but just can't locate this posting.

Appreciate any relevant suggestions

Thanks

a. Ground floor of Nakornping Condo, Le Brunch. Pretty tasty and most things 100-120 thb. Quality and a bargain, IMO.

b. The Amazing Sandwich on Huay Kaew Rd, about 20 different Western breakfasts for 139 thb.

c. Corner Bistro, basically around the corner from Nakornping Condo. Excellent french press coffee, pretty good breakfast options though a bit more expensive than a and b.

d. Noisplace is the coffee shop in the Dome Residence on Huay Kaew. Never been but I've seen others suggest it on this forum as a bargain with decent quality.

e. The Pub across from Maya Mall opens at 0700 daily. Western breakfasts but probably higher priced than the others I've listed....probably more food too though.

f. Tom 'n' Tom's across from Maya has limited Western items but they're all frozen items and microwaved/toasted/reheated. Open 24 hours though, if you're up early and hungry.

Not quite budget, but just checked out the breakfast buffet at Grandview Hotel yesterday. 250 baht for a very extensive buffet, including an egg station, pancakes, waffles, french toast, beans, grilled tomatoes, wide selection of Thai and Japanese food, three kinds of yogurt, assortment of fruit, cereal, endless cups of coffee and tea. The meat selection was a little poor, but they said the Chinese tourists had cleaned them out earlier in the morning. Otherwise they kept the other selections fresh and hot. We arrived around 8:30 am and it was pretty quiet. Hours 6:30 - 10 am. They said the tour groups are usually gone by 7:30 or 8 am.

They have a 99-baht breakfast promo now, but I don't know if it includes the coffee.

Subway on Nimman sells a 69bt breakfast sandwich, and the purchase gets you a 20% discount at the connected Wake Up coffee shop.

This was probably Le Brunch on the ground floor of Nakorn Ping condo -- already mentioned in this thread. It's open from 7 am to 3 pm. While the menu says breakfast from 7am - 11am, she'll make breakfast until 3 pm. She has items I haven't seen elsewhere, like smoked salmon & cream cheese on a great toasted bagel and a fantastic grilled bree cheese sandwich.
