Cops round here would love firing shots at farangs too. Getting money into Thailand is easy. Getting money out, legal or otherwise, is a different matter. What would be amazing is to see the difference in attitude from the BiB. Nothing galvanizes them quicker than the chance to nab farangs; and the bank might be paying a reward too! Cut that in half if he confesses. He would then get additional time cut for good behavior so will probably end up serving 1/3 of his sentence.
