Parking at Tesco On Nut during 'Border Hop'

Recommended Posts

Hi. I need to do a border hop on Saturday & it's difficult to get a taxi from where I am (near Pinklao) to the meeting point at Tesco On Nut, particularly at 4am. I thought I'd take the motorbike but the only problem is parking. Is it safe to leave the bike there all day & how much do they charge for daily parking for a motorbike?

Cheers

The visa run vans park outside towards Soi 50. Car park is open early morning, so I guess you can park inside. No prob when you return same day.

There's a point. Will the car park be open at 5am? blink.png

If the vans can go in, everybody should be able to go in. I did it once, a while ago, so don't take it for granted.

The car park is open

The Mini van has to drive in too pick you up.

Pick up is outside KFC.

Ah OK. I've only previously been on a 'visa run' to Laos with them before & they parked on the road, outside the car park, opposite KFC.

Did you see the bit that said "outside"?

Good luck with your visa run. I almost tried this company once myself. However , when I got there and saw my fellow passengers my heart sank. Two very large black Americans with large boxes of KFC for the trip , a Thai woman who must have rubbed tiger balm over every inch of her body ..... Could smell her 5 yards away , four chain smoking filipinoes plus two others who looked and smelt like they had just completed an all night bender.

The thought of having to spend 7 hours in a small container with that crowd was enough to make me go home and drive there myself.
