Fantastic CEC Meeting This Past Saturday

Featured Replies

The Chiang Mai Expat Club meetings have become more than just the same old fare!

Ever since Nancy took over as head of the group the meetings have become more informative and and on occasion very entertaining. Case in point, this past Saturday afternoon we were treated to a splendid lunch followed by a very professional staging, presented by Chiang Mai's own Gate Theater, of the Pulitzer Prize winning comedy/drama, "Driving Miss Daisy". It was a blast and enjoyed by all in attendance. And what a bargain at 800 baht for the meal and show. Those who wanted to see the show without the meal only paid 300 baht! Where I'm from you can't get in the door for a performance of this caliber without the meal for less than $70.00 a pop.

Congratulations to Nancy for making the meetings both informative and entertaining. Great Job!

By The way, the show will be playing at Kad Suan Kaew starting next week. I will attach the poster here. Hope that's not a problem. The Gate has been around now for 8 years. If you have not had the opportunity to see a show don't miss this one.

Also, I am told The Gate is looking for a piano player and a male & female singer for a Broadway show tunes musical in December or January. Give them a call or look them up on line if you're interested.
