90 Day reporting with New Passport

Featured Replies

My boy just recently got a new Australian Passport. His original Education visa is on his old passport. Australian Government stamped on his old passport that he has a new passport and asked that all visas will continue. His 90 day reporting is coming up can I do a 90 Day online reporting for him and if I do, do I quote his old passport number, or new passport number or both. Or I can't do it online I have to go to the office and get his visa transferred to his new passport and then get it done?

You could do the 90 day report online by using the old passport number but if approved it would technically not be valid because the passport number on it will not match his current valid passport. If you tried to use his new passport number you would not get past step 1 because his record would not be found.

You need to go to immigration and have his stamps transferred to the new passport.

I had the same thing.

You need to transfer the visa to the new passport.

For the 90 day they will still use the old passport number till he re-enters Thailand with his new passport.

After re-entering do a 90 day by mail after that you can use the online reporting.

Good luck.
