Exporting FROM Thailand to Australia

Recommended Posts

Hi all!!

Just wondering if anyone knows any info regarding exporting (specifically spirit alcohols) FROM Thailand into Australia?? Found something that I think could do well at home, but no idea how to start exporting and what the requirements are etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers and GO THE WALLABIES!!

Tom

Here is one page to look at

http://www.business.gov.au/business-topics/selling-products-and-services/importing/Pages/default.aspx

To claim the duty free rate of goods into Australia for a Free Trade Agreement Which Australia and Thailand have you need the following.

https://www.border.gov.au/Freetradeagreements/Documents/thaicertorigin_050112.pdf

If you plan to send goods less than $1000.00 AUS through the mail to get goods duty free and GTS free be aware that Alcohol is exempt from this exemption

This is only a small start. You need to do a lot of research.

Good luck

Yeh, well the Wallabies turned into "Wallys" and dashed our hopes didn't they?

We'll never hear the end of THAT now, from our Sheep Molesting Cousins !

As for your Booze to Oz, you might ask the bloke at RED BULL, he seems to have got the game all stitched up !

Best O' Luck !

Surely it would be just as inexpensive to produce spirit alcohols in Australia than to import it from Thailand?

And yes the best team in the world won that match, much as they have been doing since the last World Cup. Not too sorry for our trans-Tasman wallaby shaggers as they always think they are the best in everything.

HOWEVER, full credit to Stephen Moore when he praised the All Black's performance, which he has found very difficult to do in the past. And to be second best to the All Blacks is not a bad thing!
