No wonder, why these girls want to marry an outsider instead of there countrymen. Such a result of a fling with a Thai idiot. Now she is gone leaving poor, old Mummy-Papa and 3 small dependents (under 10 years of age) without any caretaker. Is there any God???!!!

I see too many Thai men who are either drunks, druggies or absolute wasters, so why wouldn't they? The age of the guy points to him having been on national service rather than being a regular so maybe he is one of them.

She was 33, and murderer was 22. Wonder, what he even wanted?

Here is my take on what he wanted in general my opinion from living here for 10 years with Thais. What you have in this country is millions of men who look like men who carry a dick but are mentalily undeveloped due to their cultural and education system. Every relationship I nearly know the man is a number of years younger than the girl or women. The men seem to have a mentality that go get a older girl/women so they have more experience in life/established and will take care of you. I can't even count the number of Go Go girls I know that have boyfriends that are all younger than them. I see their FaceBook, they go through young BF, like they do their customers and tell me same! I just smile.

I can bet my life savings, let's back track that, that this guy was able to get his dick in her pants simply because she was older on her own lonely for a Thai conversation or man regardless whether she work the bar scene or not. I have seen first hand these young Thai guys sweet talk these women because they are taught or told they can easier get them. Many think they know full well what they are getting into because he knows he benefits from the fruit of their labor. The sterotype you hear about GoGo girls going to work and the BF goes off spending her money on another girl.

Sure they can fall in love too like this kid because that is what he is a kid with a brain of a 10 year old with a education of no more than Junior high school and here that isn't much. At her age she finally nab on to a sucker and it doesn't even matter if the guy was a Indian the writing was on the wall for him and him being Thai couldn't take it. End of story..

For the Lady R.I.P. for the guy he will confuse and ask for forgiveness from his government and that will give him a lighter sentence he is 21 now be out when he is 35.

Is it really necessary to use this tragic incident as an opportunity to vent about your low opinion of Thai males? I sense a lot of hate there...

Do crimes of passion not occur in your home country? For all you know he may get out in 5.

Do I and others have a right to express their opinion even if it doesn't agree with you or is it all about you and your sensitive self. Yes, it does happen in my country and all around the world but this article this situation this case deals with Thailand Thailand. I do not have lots of hate just expressing what I have learn about this country living here for over 10 years, having been directly in situation just like the above, been attacked and nearly killed. It is what it is buddy whether you like to hear it or not. If I have a low opinion it is because it comes from them not me. As for 5, just show how much you do not know even in Thailand.

Let's see how the administration will manage the aftermath of the incident. Does this conviction requires any more minute to waste. Who is gonna support the family of the deceased?

This is a terrible tragedy for the girls family, obviously, but bearing in mind that the murdered girl's fiance had already made a commitment to take care of her and her children by virtue of the upcoming marriage and house purchase, would it not be reasonable to assume that he will continue that support to some extent? Are you suggesting that he is going to walk away from them now?

It doesn't say a lot for this man who you have been eulogising if he does not stick by them, nor does it say a lot about the prospects for the marriage that would have taken place if he can abandon his fiancee's young children so easily.

Just introspect yourself, my friend! It's easier to say than practice. After all that 'khaek' was in love with the lady first. He could have compromised all but for the lady he wanna be with. What's left now for him except sorrow there? What you're suggesting is to waste another life. Can you apply this to yourself?

What a silly man. He's still young has plenty of time to find other loves. Why throw his life away over a woman that is over 10 years his senior.

What a sad waste of life. This lady might have kids or dependant family members. Absolutely senseless, barbaric behaviour.

Very difficult to figure out why exactly the male population in this country has such a disproportionately high amount of complete nutters in it. I hope the man gets his just desserts down the line somewhere. Very deserving

Only in Thailand eh?

There are never honour killings, jilted lover killings, jealous rage killings, men gouging out their ex lover's eyes attacks. None of that anywhere else in the world.

Thai men, eh? I wonder why they and they alone do such things?

Some clown posted a photo of this on a friend's FB page as if we need to see the tragedy that befell this young woman. It will hae been quick but she lost a lot of blood so not that quick. Sorry for the family and friends now.

Because he was dumped in favor of farangs and their money.

She must be violently killed in order to sedate his manly ego and sense of self.

Crimes of passion are not usually committed in a mentally lucid state. Why did you make that last statement? Do you think a 33 year old women has no worth?

I haven't read all of the earlier posts and someone may have already raised the issue of first aid.

My girlfriend showed me the facebook video last night. The thing that struck me was that even after the thai man was restrained, everybody just stood there and looked at her dying.............lots of yelling and gesticulating, some people even kicking the thai guy in the head as he lay on the ground hands tied behind his back.

Haven't they heard of first aid? Even basic first aid? Something could have or should've been done. Like sending people running into the nearby 7/11 grabbing ice, wrapping it in people's shirts and applying strong pressure to the wounds in an attempt to stem the flow of blood. If her heart had stopped someone else could have been performing chest compressions at the same time to at least keep her heart beating. I know the wounds were probably mortal but at least there may have been a chance to save her life, you have to have hope.

By the time the ambulance arrived there was a huge amount of blood loss and probably way too late. In the meantime no one did anything useful. They just watched her life ebb away, wasting their breath on berating him instead of helping her......pointless and extremely sad. I have a 24 year old daughter and if this happened to her I would be beyond grief.

Would you do it????? Really ? Ive been trained in CPR and would never go near a woman lying on the ground in Pattaya covered in blood . She could be anything, not to mention AIDS. I would definitely give CPR to a child thats drowned but thats as far as my good samaritan side goes. If i had been there the other night i would have left the scene immediately. Most people with brains would. Pattaya is Pattaya its not St. Tropez.

Thai people are racist to the core…esp towards indians…..kinda funny considering they lay it all on the line for buddha.

As are a large number of non-Thais who comment in this forum.

RIP to the young lady and condolences to her friends and family What is happening to Thai men yesterday a Thai man puts his wife into intensive care and today another young man slits his alleged girlfriends throat is this just becoming the norm now in Thailand wife beating murdering I just hope he goes down for a long time for such an evil crime time Thai justice set an example that behaviour of this nature wont be tolerated in an almost civilized country, what a boost for Pattaya tourism Walking Street murder who next.

I understand that you have 16,000 plus post but doesn't make you a moderator. How can you actually say I have the right to express my opinion and then on the other hand suggest I do it somewhere else. Maybe I should suggest if you do not like what you read then leave the forum on this particular thread. My message I express comes from direct from first hand experience. my expressing of hate as you call it is from those experience towards those men or people like the guy who killed this girl! Regarding of how I feel.. I make it a point because I have a Thai wife and son and they know first hand what I'm talking about seen it first hand how in general Thai man can be and act and for them I vent here but everyday I wake up I treat everyone with respect until they show they no longer deserve it and that is for the sake of my family.

Now unless, you are the moderator and truly believe in the freedom to speak I sugguest you deal with it or move off the thread. Whether you do or not is your choice but with me you are beating your head against the wall going no where.

Have a good day sir!

It was not a Farang, but an Indian she was now in love with, who also visited her parents few times. She was about to go back leaving her barlife on 12 November 2015. They already had planned to buy a home in her hometown. Couple was about to marry in February 2016. She will always be in heart. RIP Lucky (Wilailak Pidtatasa)!!!
No offense. But your comment about purchasing house means we all know it wasnt 'bout LOVE.
Oh really? may be I wrote that because I know something more than you guys. That lover(Indian) of hers was doing that after knowing all the facts and scams prevailing there. He was not a retired, going to lookout Asian type of guy. He was a business entrepreneur of the same age as of girl.
Because no one buys a house to live in with the person they love... no wife in a house loves their husband!!

We ALL know... please don't attribute your opinions to all of us...

Dear friend, none attributing any opinions on others but you are. I simply state the facts of the girl.

My comments not directed at you Victor... was about the quote above yours.. Sorry for the confusion.

I know this matter, Man! House was not for the guy or for her, but for her parents. She was all planned to leave Thailand. So these comments lack deep sense. Never mind, not anyone's fault! Whatever was the loss, has already occurred. Whomsoever was to be made sad, they already are. This brainy sense of Love is not helping anyone, but I wish it should work for some idiot.

A bit age sensitive are we today?

I didn't say 33 year old woman who obviously prefers to dig gold as some members here are implying are worthless. I'm stating a fact that as a young person of 21, there's tons of options ahead.

Now this private will go to jail unless he has political friends. But a privates pay can not keep a pretty lady happy for long in Pattaya. Sorry for the killing and hope the ladies family well. You can never accept the loose of a daughter. I will pray for her family and hope the killer gets his just do!

Do you want to say that if your age does not permit any more options, you should stick with chasing and murder her? Uff, what a tubular visioned, inhumane, hypocritic approach by some people.

I made my comment based on what you said: "why throw his life away over a woman that is over 10 years his senior".

On its own, without any further explanation offered, that suggests that she was too old to get so upset over (and kill)... and it would have made more sense (to throw his life away) if she was younger.

Oh its all so sad, such a needless loss of life! It will be in the news for a day and then be forgotten like so many other such crimes. Sometimes I feel life here is worth so little. Pattaya in particular is a meat market and with so much flesh peddled daily the gap left by this poor girl will all too soon be replaced with the flesh of another

I had a good look at the video. It only shows the victim being handled by the rescue squad. You won't see the crime being committed.

Considering that you buy a condo in a non existent company name and pay in full, your lack of comprehension does not surprise me at allgigglem.gif
