Myanmar to release election results tomorrow

YANGON:-- Myanmar's election commission announced today that the election results would be released from 9am tomorrow onwards.

In its statement, the UEC said that the results would be announced six times a day until November 15, through the media centres in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw and state media. The results from the constituencies where vote counting is finished first will be first released.

UEC chairman Tin Aye will hold a press conference on a daily basis at 4pm during the period at the Nay Pyi Taw media centre.

It was expected earlier that the results would be announced in a matter of weeks
