Rajavej Hospital Pharmacy

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have not been to Rajavej hospital before. Is there a pharmacy there or near there that I can just buy the medication I need without having to see a doctor?

I have been to a couple of standalone pharmacies in Chiang Mai and was told my best bet would be to go to a pharmacy near Rajavej.

Thank you

It would help to know what it is you are trying to buy.

You can't buy anything in a hospital pharmacy without first seeing a doctor at that hospital. But there are indeed often large pharmacies located near hospitals...especially government hospitals.

Try Suthep road near Suan Dok (CMU Hospital).

Shop around. There is a huge variance in prices. Up to ten times diffence. No one shop is the best, do the homework.

And many imported drugs you can only buy at a hospital.Which obviously requires seeing a DR as Sheryl posted

I have bought drugs at Rajavej, not often.

From what I recall the prices weren't OTT, certainly nowhere near Ram, or I dread to think Bangkok Hospital.

Certainly the difference in price and the amount, didn't warrant going on a search around town.

I believe for 100 baht you can buy a card there that will give you 10% off on drugs for a year. Not 100% sure on that check it out or maybe some one else here will know.
