'US teen' among five dead in West Bank and Tel Aviv attacks

606x341_317422.jpg

JERUSALEM: -- Five people were killed on Thursday in another day of attacks in Israel and the West Bank.

A teenage American was reportedly one of three to die in a shooting and car ramming onslaught near the Gush Etzion settlement bloc in the West Bank.

According to police, a Palestinian man drove along the shoulder of the main road and shot at crawling traffic.

Police say he was seized when his car stopped after hitting another vehicle.

Apart from the American, who was an 18-year-old tourist according to Fox News, the two other victims were identified as an Israeli and another Palestinian.

At least seven other people were wounded, a medical source said.

Earlier, two people were stabbed to death by a Palestinian at a commercial building in Tel Aviv.

Police said the assailant knifed worshippers gathered for afternoon prayers in a shop selling Jewish religious items.

“A Palestinian terrorist stabbed two Israeli men who were injured critically and taken to hospital.

“What we confirm until now is that two Israelis have been murdered in that terrorist attack,” said Israeli police spokesman Micky Rozenfeld.

“The suspect was captured and is being questioned at the moment.”

It brings to 18 the number of Israelis and others who have died, along with 80 Palestinians, in a wave of violence over the past seven weeks.

Police say that more than half of the Palestinians killed in recent weeks died at the scene of attacks on Israelis and that most of the rest died in violent protests in the West Bank and near the Gaza border.

Palestinian allegations that Israel was trying to alter the religious status quo at a Jerusalem holy site, known to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary, where the al-Aqsa mosque stands, and to Jews as Temple Mount, have partly fuelled the violence.

Non-Muslim prayer is banned around al-Aqsa and Israel has said it will not change that.

But more visits in recent years by Jewish religious activists and ultra-nationalist Israeli politicians to the complex, where two biblical temples once stood, have done little to convince the Palestinians.

Earlier on Thursday, three 15-year-old Palestinian girls attempted to infiltrate an Israeli military post in the West Bank, the military said.

Soldiers apprehended them, and the military said three knives were found in their possession.

What a bunch of pro-Jihad anti-semites on this board.

Gush Etzion (Hebrew: גּוּשׁ עֶצְיוֹן, lit. Etzion Bloc) is a cluster of Jewish communities located in the Judaean Mountains directly south of Jerusalem and Bethlehem in the Judean Hills. The core group includes four Jewish agricultural villages that were founded in 1940-1947 on property purchased in the 1920s and 1930s, and destroyed by the Arab Legion before the outbreak of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, in the Kfar Etzion massacre.[1] The area was left outside of Israel with the 1949 armistice lines. These settlements were rebuilt after the 1967 Six-Day War, along with new communities that have expanded the area of the Etzion Bloc.[2] As of 2011, Gush Etzion consisted of 22 settlements with a population of 70,000.[3]

Try to spin that.

5 dead after separate attacks in Tel Aviv and the West Bank
BY BNO NEWS

TEL AVIV: -- Five people have been killed and others have been injured after a stabbing attack in southern Tel Aviv and a shooting attack in the West Bank, Israeli officials say, making it Israel’s deadliest day in the recent wave of violence.

The first attack happened during afternoon prayers when a 36-year-old man from the Palestinian village of Dura near Hebron attacked worshippers at a synagogue in southern Tel Aviv. The attacker was quickly pushed out of the synagogue by worshippers and taken into custody when police arrived at the scene, Israeli officials said.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene while two others were rushed to Sourasky Medical Center, where a second victim died of his injuries. The third victim is not believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, who did not have a security record, had a permit to work in Israel and was employed at a nearby restaurant, the Jerusalem Post reported. It marked the first such incident in Tel Aviv in more than a month.

..as your link mentions, but explained here...
The fraud of Gush Etzion, Israel's mythological settlement bloc
"The area called “Gush Etzion” today is more than 30 times the size of the historic Gush Etzion.
An additional fraud was then introduced on a national scale. Legalistic arrangements were made in order to allow Israel to declare privately-owned Palestinian land “state land,” which was then turned over to Jewish settlers for development."
What was the US teenager doing visiting an illegally occupied Zionist colony?
...apparently he had volunteered to deliver food to IDF soldiers occupying the West Bank

Nice try. The original Jewish bought land was named Kfar Etzion. Gush (literally 'bloc') Etzion is the area surrounding Kfar Etzion. Not that different from other areas naming the surrounding area after the principal city/town/settlement.

If the land was abandoned or even not in use...why shouldn't it be declared state land for development? And if the Joos are lying scumbags...why do you give the "Palestinians" carte blanche in regards to their honesty? The fact they want the world to call the "Palestinians" when there isn't even a "pal" sound in Arabic should say multitudes about their pertinacity vís a vís trying to usurp the history of the region.

And considering that Gush Etzion is how you go to Hebron from Jerusalem, is it surprising that he was there?

It's also telling that you are so incensed that them uppity Heebs are defrauding the poor "Palestinians" of their land and yet those barbaric murders are given a free pass for killing a child...

You are creating a straw man. I would not dream of using the racist language you use.

Palestinians did not abandon land. that is your euphemism for "Israeli ethnic cleansing" ..and it is still going on today.

The American was 18 years old. He was actively supporting an army of occupation delivering food to them. He knew what he was doing.

I can well understand the grief of his loved ones. The same as the grief of the almost 100 Palestinians killed over the last 2 months.

That's why it's time this madness ended, and Israel made serious efforts to rekindle peace talks. They hold all the power. One act of good will such as a moratorium on colony building and expansion might lessen tensions. I am sure EU and US politicians would support such a move and offer their help

It really is disgusting reading the excuses the phony justifications that apologists for radical Islam use to excuse cold blooded murder of civilians. bah.gif

Absolutely incredible. The same cadre of jew haters show up to justify the murders. The same psychopathic inspired excuses. Stabbing old jewish men bent over in prayer is glorified. A drive by shooting of a tourist and local arab is excused as a fight against the occupation.

Indeed.

Incredibly tiresome and offensive. I'm sure the advertisers who's ads are showing up on this page will be delighted to know that their names are linked to supporters of violence and hate.

Hold on. Didn't the Palistinians TURN DOWN the !949 lines? They have no right to that land.

Why should the Palestinians accept a plan devised by a foreign power to give 56% of their land away to 33% of the population?
Why did Zionists reject the 1937 Peel Commission Plan that would have saved the lives of 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust?

I am not a Jew hater. Call me a hater of the current right wing Israeli government who endorse illegal occupation. Call me a hater of the racist supremacist principle Zionism. Call me a hater of extremist Islam. Labels I wear with pride. But I am not anti Semitic. Understand the difference.

The 18 year old was not simply a tourist. He was actively assisisting an illegal army of occupation.

"Ezra Schwartz of Sharon, MA., was on his way to deliver snacks to IDF soldiers with a group classmates when the attack occurred."

In just one sentence, a massive outright falsehood. Blaming the Jews for the Holocaust, in effect. And, btw, messing up the history so badly that no mention is made of complete Arab rejection of the Peel commission, while Jewish reaction, even at the Zionist World Conference, was split. It really is clear what you are all about. All this to deflect from the murder of an American teenager.

Indeed. The Jews did NOT reject the Peel Commission plan completely. The Arabs DID. This LIE has been corrected numerous times, but he continues to post it anyway. Why do the Israel-haters have to rely on mostly dishonest narratives to make their points?

Hogwash spin.

The Palestinians rejected the Peel Commission plan for the same reasons they rejected the 47 plan...because it was giving away a majority of their land to a minority of illegal Zionist European immigrants.

The Zionists rejected the Peel Commission out of sheer greed because they wanted more land.

Ben Gurion agrees with me too.

"What a bunch of pro-Jihad anti-semites on this board." That could be countered with why are there pro-Zion anti-goyum on this board. Because there is freedom of speech here, unlike Israel. Why do the Zions always throw out epithets first thing when the don't get their way? Why is that? Do they lack the ability to reasonably discuss the situation or is it a case of "Hey, you are suppose to believe what we tell you and do what we tell you and there will be no discussion on the matter. Period. It is my "make believe friend" up there in the sky not yours." I guess they feel that they should make the rules and impose them on everyone regardless of the others opinions. Not here, buubie.

Attacks like this will continue as long as Israel don't stop occupying Palestine.

Dave_boo you are talking about land that belonged to the Palestinians before it was decided to give it to the Jews after WWII.
1914 there were 94,000 Jews and 525,000 Muslims in what was then a British protectorate. 1947 there were 630,000 Jews and 1,181,000 Muslims and the land was supposed to be divided 50/50. There was peace talks but the negotiator was killed by the Zionists as they did not want only 50% of the land for Israel! Today Israel controls 78% of the land as they have have been (and still) are systematically killing the Muslims or driving them from their land, think about Kristallnacht but put it over a time period of 68 years!

And if you want to go further back in history to support the Jewish claim for Palestine?! Then it's time to kick all the white folks out of the Americas as then the American Indians have all the claims to US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina and so on!!! I have nothing against Jews, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Agnostics or any other religion. I'm against Israel because all that they have done sins WWII is basically to say "Remember what Nazi Germany did to the Jews so don't blame us for anything we do against the Palestinians!".

Ummh...you realise that the original resolution was to have that area as an internationally controlled area? And Israel agreed to that? The Arabs (mostly Jordanians) didn't. So either the Arabs should be happy with the partition plan or they really should stop lobbying the UN for special treatment as they don't recognise its authority. Can't have it both ways.

Is that a condemnation from you for the brutal murder of a (Jewish) child? If you don't come out and say it than YES it is a free pass for the villain.

I did allude to the Waste Lands Regulations. Funny thing is that they are based on Pakistan's Absentees' Property Law. Will you condemn that also?

I'm glad the Jews don't actually run the world's banks; they'd be the most broke people in the world if they think that they can commit an ethnic cleansing when the population has grown 1000% in the last 67 years!

Can you state a period of 3+ years when the "Palestinians" have not attacked Israel? They have the power to hold off and try to get peace...yet they don't. Ghandi didn't advocate suicide bombings, rocket attacks, drive by shootings, stabbings, etc.

950,000 Arabs lived in present day Israel/"Palestine" in 1948.

West Bank and Gaza is 6,220 km2. Israel is 22,702 km2. Total is 28,922 km2. Population density of 32.85/km2. Or put another way, you're claiming that each and EVERY Arab (which is incredibly ignorant of their culture), owned 30,444.2m2.

And the reason that they HAD to accept it is that THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN A STATE!

Get it through you head. They were a part of the Ottoman Empire and then a British Mandate. They never took the opportunity to create their own state. Their neighbours did, but they are so busy hating the Jews and trying to deny the historical connection to the Temple mount, the Tombs of the Patriarchs, etc. that they just never get around to stop trying to kill the Jews and actually live full productive lives.

It did not belong to Palestinians. Ever notice how there's always a distinct lack of land title documents whenever there's an interview with them?

They never 'owned' the land during Ottoman rule as the lazy buggers didn't want to be conscripted. They never 'owned' the land during the British Mandate even though had the half-wits properly registered their claims it would have made it a lot harder for Israel to allegedly appropriate land.

Amazing that one would have a quote of "Remember what Nazi Germany did to the Jews so don't blame us for anything we do against the Palestinians!". and at the same time try to conflate the Jewish State with the Nazis (think about Kristallnacht but put it over a time period of 68 years!). Good attempt there.

Curious that the headline (from "Europe") put the phrase "US teen" in quotes.

Why the quotes? coffee1.gif

Is there any question that this boy murdered by "Palestinian" terrorists was either an American citizen or in his teenage years?
