The Russian defence ministry releases further footage purporting to show Russian ships in the Caspian sea launching cruise missiles, aimed at alleged Syrian militant positions.

The Russian military has launched at least 101 cruise missiles in the past four days, 18 of which came from the Caspian sea fleet.

The Defence Ministry claims a number of Islamic State oil facilities have been destroyed in recent strikes

Do you suppose they're working on the proposed CMRTTPTT (Cruise Missile, Real Time, Terrorist Profiling, Tracking and Targeting) upgrade?

The Russian ambassador to Ankara was summoned to the Turkish foreign ministry to hear the protest.

Why is it concerning? What gives the USA (mainly) and The UK the right to topple regimes at will?

Perhaps because innocent civilians are being killed? What would your comment be if the US was the one doing this bombing of civilians? I don't think it would be a good comment.

The US has been trying to do targeted strikes at only ISIS which limit civilian casualties. Nobody seemed to like that approach....and now everybody seems to be upset the US didn't do more.
