So the only person alleging rape is the onlooker? Interesting that you don't suggest that the woman might not have been intoxicated, but that she might of consented, can an intoxicated woman consent? He should get a bonus for the good kicking the samaritans gave them. Thailand needs more like him.Why? Isnt he in fact admitting he watched ALL 5 of them rape her? One would think that after the first or second one was seen or it was established she was rejecting those men he should have immediately gone to call the police instead of being the voyeur throughout the whole sordid ordeal. He could have gotten her help before she was raped by all of them. Where in the report does it say all 5 raped her? Sexual assault does not necessarily mean rape. Ask a certain ex- Sheffield Utd footballer jailed for rape. If a girl is intoxicated and/or in a drugged sent she is considered not capable of making a rational decision and therefore of giving consent. If she subsequently complains then it's likely that the person or persons would be prosecuted. Then up to the jury. Great someone reported it, But Unfortunately it goes on much more often then we realise it seems to be common practice in the Isaan villages, I personally have known 3 girls that had it happen to them when they were 14 and 15. I have also been to several small villages with This partners and have heard of it happening, and n o one reports it. One time 6 blokes got a 18 year old legless drunk and each took there turns, a few months later she was pregnant and the village was placing bets on which of the lads the baby would look like. This guy was accused of "violent rape". This lying girl was someone's daughter too. This needs to be kept in proper perspective, but many times all is not as it may initially appear...and just because a female (someone's daughter) is the plaintiff doesn't automatically exonerate her. Take on 5 guys significantly older than you who are drinking beer and whiskey - Get Real !! Easy to make these kind of statement in the safety of your home in front of your computer, eh? Also, there is no mention that the 5 guys broke into her apartment. So one can conclude that there was initial consent on a situation that got completely out of hand. Yes, the lady was a victim but ChrisY1 would you risk getting your head beaten in for someone else's poor judgement? and saw each of the men sexually assault the woman.
