It's very tough to find a *good* granite shop, that does quality work.

Unfortunately, I can only say that the place at the corner of Sukhumvit

and Soi 87 (I think it is called DS Stone) is better avoided.

I placed an order with them, and they did such a bad job, even after

weeks of waiting for them to correct it, that I ended up walking away

from it, loosing all of the deposit.

The deposit was 2/3 of the total - that should have set of alarm bells ....

I just found the receipt of the place I ended up using. I was very, very happy
with them. This place is huge, much larger than any of the sukhumvit

places. Problem it that they are located on the dark side and a bit hard to find:

I stand corrected. Issues resolved. Miss-understanding via intermediary :-). What I have learned over the yrs. here. One need to be VERY clear and specific with any kind of orders. Better invest a bit more time and do it in person, then most problems can be avoided and/or resolved. This company has overall very fair prices and some friendly staff. MS>
