Hello everyone,

I can't seem to find the answer to this anyplace. Can I do a visa run for a non b visa at khuan Don? Is it only to extend tourist visas? Is there a consulate there or is it just an immigration post?

Thanks!

Oh, has anyone dealt with Mr. Kim before?

Visas can only be obtained from Thai Embassy's/Consulates.

There is, as far as I know, no Thai Embassy / Consulate at Khuan Don.

Visas are never "extended" !

If you want a non imm "B" visa you would be better applying , with the required documentation, in Vientiane or Penang.

I have know idea who Mr Kim is ...........................

Mr Kim? Everyone knows him.

To the OP: Wang Prachan looks like a cool place to visit, especially for the Sunday market. However, I am quite sure you will not find a Thai consulate nearby. Actually, I think you will be hard pressed to find a post office.

Heya,,,you are obviously on koh phangan,,Mr.Kim i can personally recommend..when i lived there used his services many many times.

His information is always up to date,,providing you give him the right information ie:what visa you want/have or just a in-out stamp etc.

There is definitely NO consulate or embassy at Khuan Don,,it is purely a border post for exit and re-entry to Thailand.

It is probably the prettiest and best border post with Malaysia,,,surrounded by mountains in the thai/malay national parks

If you need a new visa Penang probably the best option.

Cheers.
