Teacher finds Oil Importer’s Money Bag at Pattaya Shopping Center



PATTAYA: -- A Teacher at a University in the North-East of Thailand was praised for her honesty and kindness by Pattaya Police on Sunday, after she discovered a money bag at a Shopping Center and thanks to the Police the bag was reunited with its owner.

Khun Girasaya aged 31 is a Teacher at the Khon Kaen University and was visiting her family home in Sattahip so she could attend a Monk Ordination Ceremony. As part of her trip she, along with members of her extended family, visited the Outlet Mall in South Pattaya.

She spotted a bag close to a bench and it contained 5,000 Baht in cash, ATM and credit cards and other personal items which she took straight to Pattaya Police Station where the owner, Khun Yutapum aged 52, who owns an Oil import business, was contacted and was reunited with his bag and its contents.
