Govt. to announce achievements in 2015 next week

BANGKOK, 18 December 2015 (NNT) - The government has scheduled to announce its one-year performance and future plans from 23-25 December 2015.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Friday spoke during his weekly TV program about the government's announcement of achievements in 2015. He said the announcement would contain a summary of the government's work over the past year and plans for future tasks. Academics, the general public and press members would be allowed to ask the government questions in order to exchange opinions and suggestions, said the PM.

All ministries were preparing New Year presents for Thai people and would start publicizing them gradually through various channels, Gen.Prayut added. Such presents were considered as the beginning of important projects in the government's Road Map, he said.

Then the govt still has a few more days to actually achieve something (anything) noteworthy...keeping my fingers crossed for them.

Here, let me help you with an early release of the list:

1. You have, from an initial high sense of hope, with your childish egotistical ways, brought about widespread disillusionment.

2. You have, quite ironically, highlighted that certain elites can get away with anything.

3. You have caused massive mistrust in anything military that involves money.

4. You have shamed the country in the eyes of the world.

5......That's enough, isn't it?

This should be enlightening, one wonders what planet this will be broadcast from , certainly nothing the Junta has done is worthy of note except to derail democracy within the borders of Thailand , here on planet earth........................coffee1.gif .

"5......That's enough, isn't it?"

No, but it's a pretty good start.

Rather harsh , but probably correct, however they did clean up the Phuket beach once , taxi service for a week , ran the country dry on water ( although that was inherited ), lost international credibility on a few fronts, including DCA audits and people trafficking , the High speed train ran off the rails and replaced some light globes in Silom.

Achievements is a very subjective view, some people's achievements are other's non event or

non at all, while the government can boast about achieving this and that for the people, it is

the people that ultimately decide if there was a substance to all those chest beatings....

"The government has scheduled to announce its one-year performance and future plans from 23-25 December 2015."

The biggest achievement will be all the money it's saved by announcing its performance.

Should take all of the space of one Post It Note.

Congratulations!!!

This going to be one very short announcement.

Quick summary: "We have achieved nothing, while simultaneously causing Thailand to be flushed down the drain and backslide to the 1950's."

when you have to announce and broadcast a big program to announce your achievements, they are really much of an achievement.

I have been on a sabbatical from these forums for many months due to the fact subjects like this one were infested with boot lickers intent on squabbling in Troll like fashion.

Now, the tone has changed significantly. Refreshing.

I was suspicious of this autocratic buffoon from day one.

There were many before who truly believed this fascist was coming to the rescue on his white horse.

Seems they have all duly slunk back into the woodwork…

P.S. And if some boot licker does plan on responding to me, fuggedaboutit.

I have a new policy: I don't reply anymore.

You are quite right sir. There were an army of foaming out the mouth junta apologists but they are seldom seen these days.

I wonder why whistling.gif

How about the fact that planet earth now sees the Thai PM as Asia's village idiot. That's quite an achievement.

That really is an achievement. Now if only we would know what 'planet Earth' is. One may choose from

- 2006 BBC television series

- Discovery series on Natural World

- etcetera

Mind you, I did locate the David S. and Ruth L. Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth, located in the Rose Center for Earth and Space, displays an outstanding collection of geological specimens from around the world to show how our planet works.

Of course, more likely you only state your opinion here. Mine is different with some remarks like 'missed chances', 'too slow' and 'too Thai'

They just continue what was introduced by the previous government.
