The poll by the National Statistical Office, past of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, found that 99.3 percent of people surveyed were satisfied with the government's overall performance while 98.9 percent were confident in its abilities to solve the country's problems, Bangkok Post reported.

Wow, I really must be living in an area where a sizable portion of those remaining 0.7% are concentrated, a hub full of dissidents and brimming with ingrates who constantly huff and puff and whine about the government at any given opportunity.

Please beg my pardon, but I am extremely skeptical about this survey, the methodology it deployed, how respondents were selected and the results calculated. In a democracy, an approval rating for anything amounting to a figure like 99.3% simply is a factual impossibility.

Methinks Saddam Hussein's pollster crew somehow found new jobs in Thailand.

Oh yee of little faith, cynic, of course it's true, it's on the internet!

And besides that, Uncle Too, said so!

Are you (IP 201.104.27.539) convinced now?

;-)

His name is not Uncle Too.

It is Dr. No.

99% of me agrees with that name.
