Foreigner Flees After Motorbike Collision, Leaving Drunken Thai Woman in Tears
Picture from responders. Police officers from Nong Prue Police Station responded at 06.40 on January 14,to a report of a motorbike collision that left one person seriously injured. The incident occurred in Soi Thung Klom-Tan Man 9, Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi. Rescue teams from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation and medical staff from Bangkok Pattaya Hospital were dispatched to the scene. At the site, officers found a white Yamaha Filano motorbike, registration from Chonburi, with some rear-end damage. Lying on the road was an injured Laotian woman, approximately 40 years old, who was the rider. She had sustained serious injuries, and rescue workers and medical personnel administered first aid before rushing her to a nearby hospital. A short distance away, police found the other motorbike involved in the accident, a grey Honda Forza, registration from Chonburi, with front-end collision damage. The motorbike had been abandoned. Documentation revealed it was a rental vehicle, with a foreigner listed as the renter. Also at the scene was Ms. Narisara Laoporn, 24, who had suffered minor scrapes and was visibly intoxicated, sitting by the roadside crying uncontrollably. She explained through her tears that she was a passenger on the Honda Forza, which her friend had been driving. She claimed her friend fled the scene, leaving her behind. “I just want to go home and sleep. I’m drunk. My friend doesn’t love me; he left me behind,” she said, sobbing. A security guard who witnessed the incident reported seeing the Honda Forza lose control and slide to the ground near the security booth. The guard stated that the motorbike was being driven by a foreign man, with a Thai woman as the passenger. The foreigner then reportedly fled the scene on another motorbike. Police inspected the scene and documented the evidence. Ms. Narisara Laoporn was taken in for questioning as part of the investigation to identify and locate the foreign driver, who will face legal action. -- 2025-01-14 -

BYD ATTO 3 - New car soon
A bit more of my rant on this car: The mirrors SUX Badly! the left mirror can't be turned out far enough, so if you are a bigger person you will be seeing the tail of your car in half the mirror. for smaller people, no problem! because I'm big and have long arms I have move the seat all the way to the back, while the side mirror maximum position doesn't let me see much. It is quite dangerous as well, so I dont drive that piece of crap anymore.... Anyone have this issue?
