Thursday the 31st of December and Friday the 1st of January. Or are you referring to 2016?

I am getting a little worried. I mailed my 90 to immigration last Friday and they received it Monday of this week and still nothing in the mail today Saturday. With 2 holidays next week again worried. It seems the turn around time for 90 days is now getting longer and longer. The 90 reporting is our last bastion of hope and it now seems to becoming strained.

If you have your EMS receipt, it's no big deal and certainly nothing to worry about. My mail-in reports usually take around 3 weeks.

No, I am referring to next week. I was told the Social security offices are closed (must pay a bill) on Wed. Dec. 30 and opening again on Tues. Jan. the 5th. So I thought they might be the same I am glad to hear differently, so I guess monday the 4th will be the first day open again?

Odd about the SS office but the only national holiday is Thursday & Friday, for Monday the 4th it is business as usual.

Three weeks seems like a long time to me. If you are using standard postal service for the return I can understand that though.

Sent mine by EMS and got the receipt for it the next day after they received it. I put stamps totaling 40 baht on the return envelope so it would come back to me by EMS.

Yes, I just use a standard post 10 baht return envelope - never had a problem getting it so far!

I have the same problem as elgordo38. Sent EMS on Monday the 14th, tracking shows arrived Tuesday AM the 15th and EMS receipt on line shows picked up. Still haven't received the receipt. I've done it 5 times the same way and it has been exactly 4 days from day posted to arrival at my house. Today is the expiration date so have 6 more days before I need to go in person to check. Of course with the NY holidays, it would mean this Wednesday at the latest.

My reporting office is 125km away in Nakhon Sawan, so I make a day trip out of it and go down in my pickup truck. Next month I will meet a couple of mates there. 1 is coming from Khampaeng Phet about 125 km each way and the other is coming from Pichet way and about the same distance. The youngest of us id 60 something, I am 71 and my mate from KPP is older than me.

Be adventurous and have a day out.

Just checked my mail today, forgot to check Saturday, and my receipt was there with envelope stamped December 25th. So sent Dec 14th and back at home on December 26th. Don't give up hope elgordo, for some reason the last several reports have shown a considerable slow down on returning receipts in CM.

Me too. They are now dragging there feet on 90 day mail-ins for whatever reason, they never did before. What use to be a one-day turn-around up to three months ago is now one week+. I fully expect to have to go to the Airport to track down my report on my 90 day expiration date, although maybe I'll get lucky. However, you have 7 days after it expires to report without having to pay a $2000 THB late fee.

If they can't find your mail-in at the Airport office, you may have to report in person at The Promenade within 7 days after your expiration date unless they are willing to process you there. Tywais, please correct me if I'm incorrect on this. I don't know what they do if you have your EMS receipt and copies of your paperwork, and they can't find the documents that you sent. Does anyone know?

It took 12 days for the turn around this time for me. Some CM members reporting similar or longer. One member did mention he went to the Airport location with his EMS receipt to find out what happened. They completed the process there for him. Far right desk, same as original 90 day reporting location.

Well, good news. My 90 only took 6 days to process and was mailed on Dec 31 according to EMS. Guess someone was putting in over-time during the holiday. I don't say much positive about Immigration, but if they are working during the holidays, I'll give them a Kudo. thumbsup.gif
