Regarding DL (car)

For some reason i was mistaken by the expiration date on my 1 year DL and have found that it expired last month.

Now, here is the question

Can i still get a 5 year DL, or do i start all over and get a new one

Can i even get a DL on a tourist visa (last time i got it, i had WP)

p.s. there is a sticky in this forum, but its from 2009, which is a long time here in Thailand, maybe it needs to be updated?

On tourist visa you can get another temporary license, which is 2 years now.

Expired license, less than 1 year, has no effect on procedure.
