BANGKOK, 13 January 2016 (NNT) – The sunflower garden in Lad Phrao District is now ready to welcome the general public, the latest addition to Bangkok’s green spaces.

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s (BMA) Deputy Permanent-Secretary has presided over the opening of the sunflower field in Lad Phrao District, Bangkok, developed under the city’s “Green City” development campaign.

The 25-rai field was renovated from an unused land, with 10 rais transformed into a sunflower field, while the remaining area will be used as an organic farming learning center complying with His Majesty the King’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. It is also considered the latest green space and tourism attraction in Bangkok.

Located on Prasoet Manukit Road in Lad Phrao District, Bangkok, right behind Satriwitthaya 2 School, the sunflower field will be open to the public on 14 January 2016.
