Im planing to visit thailand Feb 5th - Feb 21st (2weeks). So far I’ve got nothing planned in terms of destinations and really need some help.

Im 30, and am mainly going to meet some women, explore some of the nightlife and relax on the beaches. If I am missing any major tricks here let me know.

My friend recommend these locations for this two week visit: Bangkok , koh pi pi , krabi, koh phagnan , koh samui then back to Bangkok.

I have two concerns with this as its is missing Pataya and Phuket. and 6 locations in two weeks might be too intense for a first visit to thailand.

Could someone help me plan what locations would be best to visit and can feasibly fit into a two week stay. What city should I visit and are there any key places events I should do?

Thanks for your help

my personal opinion would be to "wing it" once you are there I assume you shall arrive in BKK and the head to pattaya or phuket and see what you fancy you may find that you dont need to see that many different places all in one trip...

Waste of time planning, after your first night on the piss, all plans will go tits up.

Scout the internet for ideas, and move on as and well.

Really? won't it be more expensive that way. Booking flights and hotels ext?

Thailand is cheap and easy to get around. You will probably save on accommodation by not pre-booking it.

Head to Koh Sahn Road, rub shoulders with a few back-packers and take it from there. Consider a few organised day-trips.

It depends if you have them pre-booked or not.

If you have, and miss a connection, you have to pay again.

Internal travel is very cheap, so subject to availability, which should not be a problem then (barring Chinese New Year), you should be able to book and fly on the same day.

What kind of women? Maybe you should consult the recent thread about foreigners dating upper middle-class and hi-so Thai girls.

haha do share, am i making a schoolboy error?

I'd do less beach places. They're all pretty similar.

what else would you do? I thought i had a good mix BKK and beaches

I also suggest mixing things up a bit. Kanchanaburi is two hours west of BKK and good for a day or two of adventure. Khao Yai National Park is two hours northeast. Ayuthaya is a nice day trip.

Food for sure...bangkok... women, bangkok, Phuket, water sports, women, food... The floating market...

Kanchanaburi.. that bridge of the River Kwae.

Chiang Mai is nice.. you'll find all the above..

Enjoy

I dont want to get off topic. I think it's in the General or Farang Pub thread. "Foreigners dating light skinned women" or something. I dont think youll have trouble meeting women in any of the places you mentioned. Just depends on what kind you want to meet. Foreign backpackers. Foreign expats. Thai whore. Thai sluts. Farang hunters. Hiso girls. Theyre all here. Just gotta know where they all hang out. You probably wont meet any women in the places I suggested in my other post, but maybe you will. Thats one of the thrills of Thailand. Anything can happen. Especially when youre young. People can be very inviting and hospitable here. And they seem to like starry-eyed newcomers.

I was thinking:

Bangkok

Krabi

Phi Phi

Ko Samul

Ko Pha Ngan

back to bangkok

If you`re going to be with women, do you really care where you go? As long as there are decent rooms available to spend the nights should be your only concern.

Too much hassle.

Get to Phuket...book hotel...find girl....order room service for ten days.

That they do. I've sometimes wondered how I can recover that new-farang smell so seductive to the enterprising females of the Kingdom.

For a first time visit your proposed schedule is far too intense. Assuming you are flying in from the west you will lose much of the first 2 days sleeping. I would explore Bangkok for a week then go to Pattaya. Once there you won't want to leave. This will give you a grounding in Thailand, you can travel more next time when you're a bit more used to things.
