PHUKET: -- Thalang police are considering whether or not to charge a 41-year-old Thai man who ran over a 39 year old Myanmar last night in Thalang.

At about 6:10 on January 17, Thalang Police were alerted to the incident, which happened in Sisunthon's Moo 3, along the northbound lane of Thepkrasattri Rd, about 150 meters north of the heroines monument.

Police questioned the driver of the cement truck, named as Mr Naina Singprasong, 41, who reported that the deceased had been driving a motorbike and cut him off before becoming entangled with another motorbike driver, causing him to wipe out and be thrown off his bike and under the cement truck.

What horrible way to die.

RIP.

Myanmar motorbike driver? Surprised they even called for emergency services.
Must not have looked at his ID yet.

Cement trucks are quickly becoming the #1 most dangerous trucks in this country.

The pregnant fiance of a friend of mine was run over and killed (both of them) by one of these death machines.

A lot or really bad drivers in Thailand but the cement truck drivers are the very worst as far as

I am concerned. They drive around knowing they are at the controls of an M1 Abrams.

No regard for anyone else. sad.png

It's actually concrete cement is just one of a number of ingredients common error

Beg to differ;

It was after they checked his ID that they figured it would be safe to hang around and call for help.

If it had been a Thai mo-cyclist the truck driver would have laced on his shoes and gone off like Usain Bolt on a SpaceX fueled by nandrolone.
