Immigration in Mahasarakham ?

Featured Replies

Some small rural provinces don't have any immigration office. People living there have to go to a neighbouring province.

What about Mahasarakham province ? Does it have any imm. police office ? If so, where in the province ? Maybe in the town of Mahasarakham itself ?

You have to use the immigration office in Khon Kean.

Yes. Khon Kaen Immigration.

In the police training school on Highway 2.

Almost opposite Tesco Extra.

There are many considerations when choosing where to live in Thailand.

Unfortunately, most times the Immigration office is far down the list, or not even on the radar, until we are already settled.

By dumb luck I landed in the territory of a fairly good office (Korat). 7-8 years ago I would have called it a great office.

I would advise anyone without any ties to a particular part of Thailand to consider the Immigration office that they will be dealing with on at least a yearly basis.

Consideration for an immigration office would not have done me any good. It was in Chiang Khan about 60 km away. Nice drive. Since the reshuffle it moved to Udon. About 100 km and a fight with traffic for most of the way. It is improving as the 4 lanes keep getting added.
