Does anyone know where I can buy inexpensive wooden tables (to seat four people) and 16 chairs? They will be used for a simple restaurant and I don't need anything fancy, but they do need to match.

I've been told to go to Lampun but it hardly seems worth the travel. I'm told Bahn Tawai might be pricey, but I've no idea and am looking for suggestions. Thanks!

Baan Tawai will be pricey.

Baan Maa in Lamphun is the place to go. They will deliver to Chiang Mai for free or 200B.

Highway 11 south, after about 20km, come to a flyover, come off highway, left at lights. After a couple of km, turn right just before 7/11. Shops start there, the main area is about 1km down that road, take a left and admire the endless furniture. Nicely finished chairs of cheap wood, varnished are 220B a piece, rustic stuff will be less.
