My frozen fish order attracted a 90 Bt delivery and listed 'Bangna" etc, NOT Chiang Mai. How much does a 1.5kg frozen order cost delivered to 50230 and what guarantee product will still be free-flow frozen upon delivery?

Hi Rob

At the moment our website is not as sophisticated as it could be. Just before checkout when it come to shipping charges, you have to select the area which you are located in. In your case it will be a "PassionBox frozen". The delivery charge depends on the value of your order.

More details can be found here http://www.passiondelivery.com/pages/passionbox-delivered-nationwide-delivery-charges-additional-info.

We guarantee the fish and any other frozen product will be totally frozen upon receipt as we put in plenty of dry ice to keep it frozen for at least 36 hours.

Ok thanks, looks like 390 bt delivery for a 1.5kg pack.

That is correct. The cost for us to send up to 12kg is almost the same as 1kg so many of our PassionBox customers tend to make larger orders. Of course some will want to try out the service first to ensure everything goes smoothly and that is why we are offering first time orders with a lower minimum charge.

I'm sure you will be impressed with our quality of fish, it is one of the things that makes us stand out amongst the crowd! For the quality you get, our prices are unbeatable.

Understood, I might just wait until we empty our freezer a bit more and order extra. Don't suppose you have Hoki as well as Orange Roughy?

No problem. We don't have hoki yet but it we may add it in the future. We plan to massively expand our seafood section in the future. It will be the best in Thailand!

We received our first PassionBox order at 0900 this morning, less than 24hrs after dispatch! Well done PB and Kerry Logistics.

The total order was just over 4k bt and comprised of 4 packs fish fillets, steaks and meat pies. It arrived double packed in a styrene box inside a cardboard box with paper as insulation between and dry ice packs inside with the goods which were still frozen solid.

Ordering and payment process was almost seamless... seems if you order meat cuts the individual weight can vary and this alters the final price. I had already paid before receiving an email saying steaks were over 300g ea and the total was ~115 bt extra. This was quickly sorted without fuss once I replied that payment had already been made. Steaks closer to the 300g weight were supplied.

The products all look fresh and in good condition, nothing with frostbite or damage. A quality service. Thanks Ian, Sara and team. wai.gif

Can you please verify that there's a long-standing Thailand ban on import of all frozen fowl from USA?

Chicken, duck, turkey? Result of bird flu scare a few years ago?

What are you offering at Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays?

Thanks for your message.

Yes, that seems to be still the case regarding the long-standing Thailand ban on import of all frozen fowl from USA.

We don't know when this ban will be lifted.

It is not confirmed yet but for Thanksgiving and Xmas, we may offer hams, chickens and steaks / whole beef roasting joints.
