I need a reliable Pool Contractor

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

Can anyone recommend a reliable pool builder in the Pattya/Sattahip area? I am presently located in the UK and although I have a trustworthy Thai agent looking after our property in Sattahip, the pool will need to be constructed while we are here in the UK, so whoever we choose to do the work needs to be trustworthy and reliable. Can anyone help?

I have a guy from Rayong who was recommended by a Thai developer. He did an excellent job and was also the cheapest and also maintains the pool at a cheap price. Tel 038430013, 0816878792 (PS. I wouldn't use any in the Pattaya area as they are all too expensive and quote falang prices.)

Many thanks Peterrabbit. I will get in touch. Do you by any chance have an e mail for them?

How long ago did he build your pool?

As you are in the UK it might be an idea to approach a pool company in the UK and ask them to design and produce some drawings and a specification .Obviously it will cost but in the long run could be money well spent.Just make sure they are SPATA members.

These could be sent to your locally appointed contractor.

I have got plans and spec here as you advised, as I want to be sure what I am asking for. I just hope the contractor can deliver on the spec.

With my experience with builders , of any kind, here in Thailand there is no way in hell I would attempt any project without being on site

Any company here in Thailand is only as good as it's last job and your never hear about the lousy last job

Should be rule #1 for any construction project.
