A tropical fruit called dton gra ton

Featured Replies

I have search a lot and still cannot find out what the name of this fruit tree is in English. There is many of them in the Korat area. Can anyone tell me the English name of this fruit or where I can read about it and/or photos. Every Thai I talk to in this area in Thai calls it dton gra ton. Thank you.

We have some on our farm here in Chantaburi. Its very sour but the Thais like it for a change, not really that much edible flesh on it either. People come round to buy it, same as tamarind but they don't pay as much
