But Namtons had a draft saison at 400 and a special bottle in the fridge at 1200 !! Once you start hard to go back to the watery crap that is domestic..

February 18, 201610 yr I don't think we can have a thread about Hang Dong without mentioning "The Game;" a world class sports bar....with free tea refills, and a kid's menu. Catering to the new upper middle class of Hang Dong's highly sophisticated, soi dog infested, moo baans. I found that on Google but seems it closed down in December. Shame because it was supposed to have good pool tables or so I heard. Bangmai has an unhealthy obsession with that place. He stopped mentioning it for a while but I guess he's back at it again. He must have gone off his medication.

Crikey! village.JPG Went there last night. Beer OK provided you could find one that was in stock. Made the mistake of ordering western food. Awful. Chicken in cream sauce and pork chop. Both deep fried, DEEP FRIED!!!! And the oil needs changing too! Could taste it on the spring roll, about the only thing that was OK. Chicken wings way overcooked (as were the mains) and very scabby looking things. Ambience OK (provided you don't mind the numbers of kids with the playground), beer OK, Thai food I hear OK, western food, no way - NEVER again. Service so so, gave up trying to get some condiments for the table, staff too busy doing whatever it is a lot of staff do. Won't be in a rush to go back.

September brasserie being the only other craft beer outlet in hang dong ??
