Marketing Assistant - must be good on the phone!

Jigsaw Trading sell a popular trading application aimed at day traders. We do not sell investments or give investing advice, we merely provide a platform on which traders can analyze the markets and place trades. Customers do not open trading accounts with us, they generally use US based brokerages such as Interactive Brokers, AMP etc.

Right now there are 6 of us in the company and we are spread across Thailand, UK and Philippines.

Part of our mission is to make sure that people hear about us and they do that in the following ways:

- word of mouth

- advertising

- internet forums

- content driven trading sites

- brokerages

- webinars/presentations

- magazines

To ensure we get placement and get talked about, we need to be on the phone to the brokerages and content providers arranging presentations and keeping them sweet.

To this end, we are looking for someone to join us as Marketing Assistant. The primary role is to arrange presentations with content providers and make people aware of our products. A considerable amount of this work will be done on the telephone, so the number 1 skillset is being friendly and charming on the phone. If the brokerages and content providers enjoy talking to you, then we'll get more gigs. As well as reaching out to these people, you'll need to keep the schedule of presentations/articles balanced so that we don't get overloaded or have dead periods.

Much of the time, these calls will be made after 9pm - because most of the brokerages are in New York and Chicago

This is a challenging role. Initially starting on contract basis, the right candidate will be offered a full time position within the company along with a share in the profits.

Initially, we are looking for someone to join on a contract basis with an initial period of 6 months. Candidates with prior experience in marketing are preferred as we are looking for someone that can bring ideas to the table as well as execute them.
