Just days after three Japanese warships set sail after their three-day visit to Sihanoukville and other offshore islands, three Chinese warships carrying almost 1,000 crew members docked in Sihanoukville today to take part in five days of naval exercises with the Cambodian navy around Koh Tang Island, Koh Rong Sanloem Island and Koh Russei Island, according to an official statement by the Defense Ministry. The visit will focus on sea security. The Chinese Liu Zhou 573, San Ya 574 and Qingaihu 885 are between 130 meters to 190 meters long and weigh between 3,000 and 37,000 tons.

The naval visits come at a particularly contentious time for Japan and China as both jockey for support in their quest for control of the East Sea. Multiple Asian nations have slammed China for building landing strips and warship docks on disputed islands in the South China Sea, a key shipping route for an estimated $5 trillion in oil and manufacturing tankers. Just last week, Taiwanese officials claimed to have spotted Chinese anti-aircraft machinery on islands which both Vietnam and the Philippines claim ownership.

Just wait until China starts to build islands off the coast of China in the Andaman Sea. Thailand will not be so nice to them.

Matters not a jot how nice Thailand is or isn't to them. :D

Thailand will be wining, dining, 69'ing, their Sino superiors and cousins for the next few centuries at least.

Then it may be the muslims, should they win the Islam verses Chinese World War fr global domination in the next century or two.

Last I checked, Sihanoukville was in Cambodia. And Thailand managed to avoid colonization by playing nice with whoever has the biggest guns. They even kept flip-flopping in WWII depending on who had the upper hand at any given moment. That is the key to survival when you are not a super power. Hopefully, they will find some more coral reef and marine life habitats in the area that they can decimate while playing semen.
