Hi,

Im about to leave to Savannakhet to get a multiple entry non o based on marriage.

I think i have the correct copies of wifes ID, book etc. Its signed, but i see now, that its not dated. sad.png

Anyone got any idea about how important this is? Should i cancel trip and try get it dated before i go?

p.s. There is no easy way to get her to date it, other than flying across the country, which would not be convenient and expensive as well. No time for EMS etc

Thank you for answers.

I don't think they are that picky about the date being on them. I am certain others have done it without the date being on them.

Get a date stamp and just stamp the date beside (same as they do at the immigration). Thais love stamps and you can get it everywhere, I even think you will get it on the other side of the road in Savannakhet.

In my experience a dated signature isn't required. My wife never dates the copies and I've never had a problem with visa or extension of stay applications.

ok thank you everyone... ill just try and go, and hope for the best. if nothing else, maybe a date stamp can do it.

Why dont you just date it yourself, there is to my knowledge no law that forbids you to date it, as long as the signature is a legitim one.

im not so sure about that. i mean, if you alter a document which have already been signed, i think its some kind of forgery/fraud. afterall, the document which was signed are altered.

doubt that it would be a very big problem, since the person signed it, agree with it, but still.... TiT, dont want problems due to stuff like that. :)

i can confirm at site, that dates where not asked for. just seemed like everyone, in their document requirements posts list a "dated copy of ...." seems not to be needed.
