KHON KAEN:-- Police in Khon Kaen have arrested a man wanted for an alleged sexual assault of a 20 year old student.

Pol Col. Nopakaw Somanat confirmed the arrest of Ittipol Wisanworaist, 52, on Monday.

He was arrested at Koosai market in the city in possession of a notebook computer, as well as a red and white Honda Wave motorbike which is said to belong to the victim and was secured in the back of the man’s Toyota Vigo pick up truck.

Police told reporters they received a complaint from the victim identified as Miss P on February 20th.

The victim told police how she was first approached by Ittipol as she sat and ate noodles with her boyfriend in the Chumpae district of Khon Kaen.

After leaving the noodle stall, Ittipol followed the girl and her boyfriend as they made their way by motorbike to Huaybong.

Ittipol pulled in front of the pair and demanded they get off their motorbike, telling them that he was a soldier and he had information which believed the pair may be carrying drugs and that the motorbike was stolen.

He told Miss P that she would need to accompany him in his vehicle for further questioning at his office. A short time later whilst travelling in the direction of Phetchabun, Ittipol stopped the car by the side of the road and tried to unsuccessfully perform a sex act on Miss P.

Miss P told police how she was scared and tried to gain the trust of Ittipol so that he would no hurt her, telling him he could keep her phone before persuading him to take her back to her room, saying she had a collage exam in the morning. Ittipol agreed and returned the girl to her room but kept her room key. Miss P then raised the alarm with a teacher who helped her report the incident to police.

Ittipol confessed to the police that he said he was a soldier and that intended to sexually assault the girl but was unable to as he suffered from erectile dysfunction.

Police revealed that Ittipol had two warrants out for his arrest related to embezzlement and fraud.

Police also said they believed that Ittipol is likely to have committed similar crimes in the past and urged anyone who thinks they have been a victim to contact officers at Chumpae police station.

why so many faces in the photo ..... blink.png

That was my thought. I am guessing he is the guy in the middle, but there are 5 guys there that could be the right age. Where are all the cops? They are normally queuing up to be in these shots.

I'd arrest the Toyota Vigo Pick Up and give the guy a big bike/

If you think you may be a victim of someone else's erectile dysfunction, we want to know! Wonder if he actually got a good kick in the nads? Thai boxing is not just practiced by ladyboys!
