PM’s Office Minister urges Thais to uphold unity

Thammarat Thadaphrom

BANGKOK, 27 February 2016 (NNT) – M.L. Panadda Diskul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, has called on members of the public to work in unison in restoring peace and reconciliation in Thailand.

During this speech at the Education Department of the Royal Thai Air Force, M.L. Panadda urged all sides to adhere to His Majesty the King’s teachings and practice love, unity, and peace.

He said one of the causes of social divide in Thailand is a failed political system which creates ongoing conflicts and segregation in the society.

In order to bring peace back, he said everyone must exercise love, uphold reconciliation, and find a common ground.

He also called on civil servants and state officials to carry out their duties with honesty, integrity, and transparency as well as foster morality and ethics among the Thai people.

Sorry impossible, Thais lost there way. A long time ago. The country is divided!

The jungle drums are beating, something is going on.

Peace, love and hashish?

Did he indicate the PM and govt will take the lead and stop threatening people who criticise, stop AA and other issues that have the govt rightly described by the word we can't use ?

The flapping of gums in making the same frivolous utterances changes nothing. The coup and the general have failed at reconciliation . What happens next is anyones guess.

What unity?

What unity?

One nation under military rule isn't that some kind of unity?

One nation under military rule isn't that some kind of unity?

yeah, a forced unity by handcuffs and gags?

His own organisation is doing more to create division than unity. There have been several examples of this.

More hot air.

failed political system

That fairly well describes the twelve military coups and junta-installed governments that can't seem to keep democracy away from the Thai people.

Is this a Robo call? I seem to hear it weekly.

He said one of the causes of social divide in Thailand is internationally recognised as being the massive disparity between the obscenely wealthy and the rest.

There, fixed that for ya. Vomit emoticon.

An off topic post of a dangerous nature has been removed as well as the replies.

Creates ongoing segregation. What is he doing to break down the Elite's control the country? Oh...Sorry forgot, he's Elite also.

yup be united and that's an order!
