I eat deep fried food twice a day and don't want to change.

I have home made french fries and some deep fried meat

with some vegetables.

I see these air fryers on YouTube and was wondering if they

help you loose weight.

Given that I would use it so often do you think it would make a difference.

I have about 10kg to loose and can't do much activity because I have

fibromyalgia..

The reason I have put on the weight is because I have to take prednisene.

So what do you think.Would a deep fat fryer make a difference in my case and if so what one should I buy.If I need to cook 2 things at the same time.

Can I use olive oil with them.

I have an air fryer from Philips it will work but french fries really take long and taste a bit different from real french fries. You cant compare it with deep frying, but people should just not eat deep fried food too often.

The taste will be different and it will take to work with the airfryer good. A steaming machine would help you more but would force you to change your eating habits.

Diet wise if you could cut out the fries and have something less carby, like using sweet potato instead, that would help. Also, processed oils aren't great for you, I would recommend using coconut oil for your oil.
