You remember the murder/suicide a couple of weeks ago.

Today was the closing ceremony to get rid of the smaller and bigger devils. A white string was pulled across the village. 9 monks attended. It was a kind of impressive event, to show the believes of the locals. Not big, a community thing.

May they rest in peace.

Just read the other thread only yesterday as I haven't been on TV for a while. Truly tragic as many commented. My thoughts are with the son.

Few years back murder suicide in Rungarroon , house empty on the market now and quite a few houses close by as well . No one even looking at them .

Sounds like a good place for a rational person to get a cheap house.

I guess, in the majority of cases, the buyer would need a similarly 'rational minded' Thai wife-- not so easy.

You wont get that cheap here. Prices are starting at 5mTHB, and there is only one or 2 houses on offer for rent, I think nothing for sale now. Pretty much a mixed moo baan with lots of expats, so I would not see a real problem to get the property sold.
