Do I have to take the customer to the bank when selling my car toget the paperwork

Featured Replies

When I sell my at which still has 150k baht left today to the bank on it, do I have to take the customer to the bank first to pay off what's owed then give the paperwork to him.. How do you do it?

Depends if he will refinance or what. But it might be easier. The bank should be able to help with procedures regarding the transfer of the registration etc.

Whose nme is on the blue book? yours or the finance company?

It's in the wife's name and at a guess it will be in the finance company's name..

So the car will have to be transferred to the buyers name from the finance company who are unlikely to do that until they have their money?

So call the bank..they will know. Honest!

I think you need to look properly at the Blue Book too......the name on the book is normally the financier; if it is under finance...
