A new requirement when obtaining a road tax disk, along with the 'tabien rot', is to submit the chassis number. She's paid someone to take both bikes on their pickup to re-register the bikes & get the road tax. I'm confused...

If the bike is more than 5 years old or car older than 7 years old a vehicle inspection is required. Part of that is them doing a rubbing of the chassis/engine number and giving it to you to give to land transport. Been this way for many years.
