BANGKOK — Uber’s recently launched motorcycle taxi service is ignoring the same government order to shut down extended earlier this month to competitor GrabBike.

UberMoto, a pilot program operating in part of downtown, remains open for business despite transportation officials showing they will treat all such services equally by banning it by name on Tuesday.

it's a lot of fun to reverse officialdom tactics.

If the photo is a true rflection they at least have helmets for the passenger something the others dont have. Thailand needs competition so good on them

'UberMoto ... remains open for business despite transportation officials showing they will treat all such services equally ...' The clue lies in the term 'equally', which in the case of the DoT, operates, in common with all other government departments, to the lowest common denominator.
