US clears out remaining migrants from Guantanamo Bay PENTAGON — The United States has cleared out the last migrants being held at its naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, sending them back to the U.S. mainland as they await deportation. Two U.S. defense officials told VOA on Wednesday that 40 detainees, including 23 “high-threat illegal aliens” incarcerated at the base’s detention center, were flown to Louisiana on Tuesday. The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss the operation, said the detainees were flown aboard a nonmilitary aircraft at the direction of officials with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Thailand Awaits Final FAA Inspection for Direct Flights to the US
We flew non-stop between NYC and BKK 20 years ago on Thai Airways A340. Food and service were exceptional in business. We did not have pods with lay-flat seat but the width and comfort of the reclining seats were quite good with excellent support for legs and feet. I slept half of the flight. -

Hi, regarding the crack down on smoking cannabis in public. In this case, police was simply enforcing the law related to the weed. And it is nothing like Extortion. These people were busted as they were smoking it in the public place like roadside. Looks like quite a few people(incl. foreigners) don't know smoking it in the public is Illegal while it is OK to do it in own private space. is smoking weed in public illegal in Thailand? - Google Search
