Good Day for Retirement Extension in April

Could I solicit some opinions as to which days would be optimal to do my extension this month? I was thinking of Thursday April 9th (After the Chakri Holiday on the 7th) or on Tuesday, April 12th, the day before Songkhran. I am trying to avoid Mondays and Fridays. I am assuming that there will be a rush to get extensions between the 19th and the end of the month due to the long May holidays. Thanks.

What calendar are you looking at. Mine says Wednesday the 6th is Chakri day. The 9th is a Saturday. If it was me I would do it the week after Songkran.

Mistake about Chakri Day! So you are suggesting the 18th - 22nd. The Siam Society says that the Songkran holiday includes the 18th. Not so for immigration? Best to avoid Mondays and Fridays, right? Anyway, I am now targeting the 19th, 20th and 21st. Thanks.

The 18th is not a public holiday. Immigration will be open.

I would say the 20th would be a good day. The after holiday rush should be over by then.

Any day can be a bad day but I generally tried to avoid Friday and Monday due to those people waiting to the end of the week to get something done or not remembering until the weekend and then rushing in Monday to take care of business.
