westbounder
Does anyone know where I can buy this exact kind of dried banana other than the bus station here in Chiang Mai? They come 6 of these in a rectangular cardboard box for 45 baht. Thank You
flyDelight
Did you try Anusan market? Inside Night Bazar entrance just left around the corner there are large shops with dried fruit, nuts etc. Otherwise I would think Big C. or Kadluang building. BritManToo
Or you could buy a bunch of bananas for 25bht. Peel them, slice then in half longwise, put them out in the sun for 3 days to dry. You have to take them in when it's dark, and turn them over for the next day.

So just take a photo or a sample and visit Top's in Kad Suan Kaew Shopping Centre They have so much dried fruit. It's crazy.
cmsally
Don't know what it looks like inside the packet but it says Banana steamed in honey. They will have some in Warorot Market but maybe not that brand. I prefer the ones that are smaller but still hold the banana shape (3D) rather than the harder squished ones. jobin
Much of the packaged dried fruit is soaked in sugar water, then set to dry. Dries faster that way. Some dry fruit is also oil coated. But all advertised as 'healthy'. 5555555
