3BB outage

Featured Replies

ADSL service has been out since early afternoon in Hang Dong area. Must be a major cable fault. Hopefully service will resume shortly.

No problem here in Saraphi, not that far from Hang Dong so hope it's not spreading!

Service restored a few minutes ago.

we lost service yesterday afternoon in our part of San Sai, for 3-4 hours.

Service restored a few minutes ago.

Us too. It was major local problem acccording to the response my wife got when she rang their help number.

I live in Hang Dong and had no service for around 4 hours. It appears (according to the local bar-flys) that the fault was a problem caused by "engineers" from another internet provider. They were cabling up to a new moo baan development in Hang Dong and in doing so, managed to disable the 3BB connection(s) providing ADSL; Lan and WLan services before immediately buggering off, leaving the 3BB guys when called out, to reinstate damaged cables etc and get their service up and running.

Pretty good response from 3BB.

In Pattaya my 3BB service has been bad for a couple of day. Tonight, Wednesday, it's cut out several times ... including as I type this.

Thai Visa seems to be one of the worst sites to connect with.
