Diving from Phuket

Featured Replies

The local sites are better IMO for the normal reef fish than they were a few years ago, and soft corals seem to be coming back.

Fingers crossed that marine life continues to improve.

Phuket isn't really the best place for scuba diving, I would suggest going to Phi Phi (It is a 2 Hour ferry ride from Phuket). You will end up paying half the price and experience a much better marine life.

Also, read this thread on quora, you will get a better idea about the dive sites in Thailand:

No, that thread wont help at all, old and uninformative.

Phuket is excellent for scuba diving, with many top destination within easy reach.
