Billy Jones and Richie De Laet are a couple that I wouldn't have thought would be in the top fifty, let alone the top twenty.

^Like you I was shocked with Billy Jones inclusion and will be checking out his sprinting with special interest next time I see him play. I also never noticed Jerome, Albrighton and Wes Morgan being particularly speedy players.

I'd have thought Aguerro or Sterling might have been there. Speed of thought and proper delivery of passes, shots and crosses counts for a lot (see under Navas).

A shame there's no more Superstars on the telly. Malcolm McDonald could shift a bit sharpish.

I was thinking exactly the same. A sprint champion over half a pitch length, another over a pitch length, another over 4 laps of the pitch, etc, before the Charity Shield or after FA Cup final (when it was the season finale game). Thirty years ago might happen, no chance these days.
