Sorry but as an american I don't know what they mean by "mum-of-one . Anyone can help here? Does it mean she had one child?

Do not mention the one who wrote ENGLISH.

Just a little help to his 'friend' should be ok.

I was going to suggest he might be a 'killer of one', but it might be too much for some people on here to comprehend.

Oh Henry, there is hole in the bucket.

Just explain what the phrase mother (or mum) over one means

I believe that some of these are very intelligent people.

Possible just low in emotional intelligence?

Ah ! you cunning devil, you figured out the ploy of the "innocent inquiry," didn't you? :-P

Telling Thai police, may not yield desired results. Another case: a Nepali serial killer came to Thailand. A Dutch embassy worker in Bkk did some sleuthing, and informed RTP of the Nepali's whereabouts. Thai cops showed up at the apt, looked at the Nepali's passport, then left, figuring all was in order. It wasn't. The Nepali went on to kill some more pretty young farang backpackers before he was arrested.

Wasn't he a Corsican that lived in Kathmandu, and travelled through South & S East aka killing backpackers?? There was a movie made about this psychopath, but European chicks dug him.thumbsup.gif

Well that is the meaning to those of us who speak ENGLISH.

Coming from NZ I have never heard it that way. Mother of one yes.

Canada as well...it would be "mother of one."

As an Australian baby my first word uttered was "mum" and I was the eldest so I guess here in Australia my mum was mum-of-one before my brother was born passifier.gif

Has he been located yet, or has the search been called off due to the confusion over the phrase "mum of one"?
