Indonesian troops ‘cannot be involved’ in hostage rescue

Oil meeting in Qatar collapses without freeze as Iran absent

BANGKOK A former Pheu Thai MP turned himself in to the junta just before noon today for an attitude adjustment session but vowed to sue over illegal detention if he is not quickly released.

Songkran Death Toll Highest in a Decade

Two people were killed and three injured – including an 8-month-old baby – when a driver fell asleep early Sunday morning in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. He was driving back to Bangkok.

BANGKOK — The number of people killed in road accidents during the long holiday soared to its highest level since 2006 this year, with 442 people killed during seven-day span.

Activists File 'Nepotism' Complaint Over Prayuth's Nephew

BANGKOK — A group of activists today petitioned the National Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate the brother of junta chairman Prayuth Chan-ocha for appointing his son to an officer position in the army, an action they said amounts to nepotism.

BANGKOK: -- Former Pheu Thai MP Watana Muangsook turned himself in to the military at the11th military circle Monday morning as ordered by the National Council for Peace and Order for publicly announcing his rejection of the draft charter in the social media.
