Recommend a good lawyer for a foreigner in Thailand?

Featured Replies

I don't have a need currently, but in the past I was treated improperly by police when I visited a backpacker area, and would like to have a contact that I could have ready in case I ever needed one.

My Thai isn't great, so the lawyer / firm would have to be capable with English.

I always have my lawyers number on my phone. It has helped in a few occasions. Once he was at the police station before I got there. With him there it was over before it started. ......Cost me a bit but I wasnt scammed out of money by two scammers or there new partners wearing uniforms...

Exactly, this is how people do it.

Just looking for recommendations of lawyers that people have been happy with in this country, particularly in BKK

Umm... maybe stop hanging out in 'backpacker areas'?

And replace the "backpack" with a crocodile leather suitcase and rubber Flip Flops with a fake Adidas emblem on it?

Never met a backpacker that could afford a lawyer.
