Hello

for several weeks now, when I go to some sites <snip>, after a few secondes, I have a voice in French which speaks about investissements etc, and the only way I found was to stop the window and start again, two or three times; sometimes, when navigating on the Internet , I have it again , either with Firefox, Chrome or Edge

Today, I have accidentally found the page where this voice comes from ; it's here <snip>

before, I thought I got a malware, virus etc and I tried spybot, malwarebytes, adwcleaner, nothing strange found

today, after knowing the origin of the site, I found a guy on a forum in English , who said that for Firefox, we have to try in "about:config , to change " dom.disable_beforeunload " from " false " to " true "; I don't know yet if it works

and for Edge, what to do ? I forgot to say that I have Adblock plus and that it can't prevent this advertisement to come

Thank you if you have a clue, because I hate this voice ( I understand what the guys says ( lies ) because I am French )

NB : I have tried schoner site ( very good to see French television ) and no voice anymore, it seems to work biggrin.png

and for Edge ( and Chrome ) is there an equivalent to about:config ?

If you have Windows 10; you can use your system restore if you made a restore point or if nothing else works re-install.
