Where do you see Volvo? The insignia on the hood (bonnet) is a Ford emblem. The V and 8 stand for V8 engine. Guess you are not American.

I drove a Volvo F89 in 1973 and it was only a 6 cylinder in line of 330 CV;

Exceptional machine; 4-speed gearbox multi-stage gearbox ( 4x2 )  plus overdrive on all gears; which in fact makes 16 reports ( 4x2x2 ) in forward and 4 in reverse.
I do not believe that Volvo ever made road engines in 8 cylinders especially in V; maybe marine engines.

A load of baled sugar cane straw ,going for bio fuel to a power station .

The bales are are known as big bales ,each one weight's about 250 kg .

 

A motorcycle well loaded up,with  Leucanena Lleucolephala,or Gratin in Thai ,it is a tree legume ,high in protein  ,grows beside the roads and in fields .

This guy is going to feed this to  his goats he has 60-70 goats. 

Wages day, loaded up with recyclables on his way to sell it on to our local recycling center.

If I remember not a strong wind blowing this day.  

Outside our local 7-11,the owner has a couple of young children .

Observed this one outside a garage in Ubon

A tipping pick up ,this one is used for hauling cassava waste, the waste comes from factory producing cassava flour, it is feed to dairy cows ,he gets best part of 3-4 ton on board ,..........the suspension has been beefed up .

Last time I asked ,a while ago now ,its cost 50 000 baht to convert the pick up to tipping .
